So does this mean I'm a Socialist?

Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital, and creates an unequal society. That is the definition. I believe in the afore mentioned so, I guess I'm a socialist?

Wow, I never though I'd be able to put myself into a category but, now that I've grown older I feel I need to define who I'am. It used to be I defined myself by what I did, who I hung out with, were I traveled to and what I looked like. Now it's what party I'm affiliated with, if I think the war was right or not and what state I live in.

Can't we all just---live? Live some place where you can do what you want to as long as you don't bring harm to others. Embrace and love people for being different. Respect others thoughts and actions. Why can't this big mess we have created be fixed? Sometime between when I was partying in my teens to now non partying in my late twenties I lost whatever it is your supposed to realize when your my age.

Maybe I just don't have it in me to sit with business managers and leaders and not think they are total pieces of shit. I feel like I'm caught between doing what is expected of me to doing what is right.

OK enough in my crazy, mixed up , irrational head on to something else....
I'm about to watch The Strangers and I will update if it's any good or not.

The Broncos lost again. Somebody better step up and start playin!

Capitalism is way better than socialism.Socialism has never in history prospered in any country-its always been implemented via dictators who repressed their citizens and made themselves rich.
Fifty years ago capitalism was jsut fine here. Its in the last 30yrs that greed went completely haywire and took over. This whole economic meltdown we are having currently started with the deregulation nonsense. But like anything if you have no rules and lawlessness you have anarchy. And so we find ourselves today with CEO's making huge money while decreasing employee pay and driving the company into the ground and then flying off to washington in Lear Jets asking for the pisspoor taxpayer to pay for their mistakes!I think this era of ostentatiousness is over.
Socialism, the word, has been used as a tool or stigma to scare people.Like national healthcare is often demonized as 'socialized'.I have never figured out why if you can defend your border and citizenry from foreign enemies why cant you defend the health of that citizenry? If you have a sick, unhealthy population what is there to defend after all?
Why is it that national healthcare is socialism yet going to your church or a family bbq not?

I agree with all except Capitalism is better than Socialism. Neither of them work. Capitalism being a good thing is no more. Due to greedyness(sp?) Who's to say if we got a taste of it we wouldn't go buck wild either? We probably would! Socialism is supposed to take care of everyone but nowadays you have dictators and that hinders any good it's supposed to do. Canada--here I come!! ;)

They Rock!
