“Once again, Wells Fargo easily earned more than its dividend of 34 cents per quarter--a rare feat these days,” said Morningstar analyst Jaime Peters. What the hell? They were close to closing, now their earnings are up? I smell something fishy going on here and it isn't a fish fillet.



Oh yeah and they just bought the ailing Wachovia. Something tells me we, the tax payers, are going to pay for this in the long run.

While the rest of us struggle, they are buying new SUVs, new houses (yes plural), going on fancy vacations and having a good time. Why does this upset me? They are known for getting their money in illegal ways and no one will say anything because they think they are getting a piece of whatever action this person is giving or hoping they will.
The worst part is we really can't do anything about it because it's beyond our power. Sure we can vote but, look what happened with Bush v. Kerry. The house voted in who they wanted to. Remember the whole Florida thing? If they think they can get someone in there who they can manipulate and who will do what they say, they are going to win.

What happened to America? It really makes me look outside the U.S. for living space. Everything I thought was great about America has now faded and I can not even see the traces it left. Call me a whiner or UN-American but I want our country back, our way of living. I don't want to live in a mansion on a hill. I just want to be able to pay my bills and live without harassment.
