What I'm obsessed with right now.....
Happy Holidays to everyone that stops by! I hope your celebrations were as great as mine. It's been awhile since I last post but, I left my laptop at home when we went cross state.
Anywho... I'm totally obsessing over:
*Victoria Secrets Pink with a slash of fresh perfume. It's amazing!! You could be outside sweatin, splash some on and you'd never know.
*Taking down decorations. I usually wait till after the new year to take them down but, this year I had the energy and drive to rip em down. I even want to take me neighbors down I doubt they would be to happy with me though :)
*We got or dog a dog bed and our cat sleeps in it. I've spent many hours trying to get my dog to sleep in it--- not happenin!
*Argyle. For some reason I'm lovin anything argyle-- socks, sweaters, undies, coats ect.
*As always, Real Estate I watched The Money Pit for like the millionth time and I want a house like theirs (minus the problems). It's more of the layout then the house. I love the trees and open grounds. Here are some of the houses I have fallen in love with that are around me.
*I need to find a good watch, mine broke and I can not choose--HELP!!!

P.S. I Love You, Mama Mia and The Women
Hearing all kinds of buzz from friends, family and co-workers I watched P.S. I Love You. I'm putting this one in the Major Chick Flick (MCF) category. Loads of crying, happy then sad moments and singing in mens boxer shorts.
Without giving to much away, Hilary Swank's husband dies and she recevies letters from him a.d. (after death) yes I cried, yes I laughed, hey I'm a chick! The scenery is good and the men are hot. You have to wait till the end to catch how everything is possible so... it's a good flick and although not highly recommened, it's recommened. Now, here is the eye candy.
Oh my, I didn't even think the guy from 300
would be as hot as he was in the film.
The guy with the bad wig in No Country for Old Men...yummy!!!
Mama Mia---- WHAT????
I was SOOOO excited to see this movie. What a huge dissapointment!!
The best thing I can say about the movie is location, location, location.
It was absouluty beautiful in Greece, the white buildings with the blue sea on a pictureque cliff to die for!!
The singing---HORRIBLE!!!! I can't even put into words (typed word that is) how bad the singing was.
007 most of lost a bet to be singing in this movie.
His good looks and charm did nothing in this film, I thought they could dub somebody's voice over his but I guess they didn't want to.
If the singing wasn't so bad the movie would of been good. I'm glad I lisented to people's advise not to go see it at the movies I would of been really pissed!!
The Women
I'm so glad to see Meg Ryan's face came back to normal as much as it can be restored!
She looked like her old self again, very thankful for that!
Anyway, on to the movie....
Great acting and great diversity in the movie. It did seem rushed and forced towards the end but I did laugh out loud! Another MCF movie for sure!!
Meg's character is cheated on and all her girls come to the rescue. Jada Smith's character is a tough dike--so funny! Annette's character is a tough business chick with questionable ethics and Debra Messing has a mess :) of kids and is an earthy mother type.
Eva Mendes is greatly cast as a seductive, husband stealing bitch.
I loved Meg's house in the movie-divine but wished for more story to come out of the movie. Again, recommended but not highly!!!

PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people

Subject: I just sent you a secret.
I picked my oldest daughter up from school then went to the post office to drop off my secret. My daughter looked at me and asked if she can put it in the mail box. I gave her my secret and watched it leave. The most unusual feeling came over me and I began to cry.

Subject: Anti-homosexuals
I hate how everyone thinks that all homosexuals are wonderful, strong human beings, and that's why we're fighting for their rights. The truth is that we're assholes and drug addicts and charity workers and Sunday school teachers just like the rest of you.

My ex has a video of us. It was very short, and I'm sure he'd be embarrassed by his performance... but I've considered breaking into his apartment to steal his computer.

Being sick sucks.
Ahh, this time of year and I want to stab someone with the star on the tree. We are all sick, haven't slept and wishing that when you get a flu shot it will actually protect you from the flu.
Moving on...
We watched the Dark Knight (Batman) and I didn't see Heath Ledgers role outstanding from the others, they all did good. I'm usually not into comic book action movies but this one was more story then beat em up action. If Heath got into this role so much, how much did he get into Brokeback Mountain ;)
We watched The Last Mimzy. OMG, that movie F-R-E-A-K-E-D me out! It was a good family movie.
I've been working 12 hour days (that's my schedule) and still doing Real Estate on the side. I'm sooo tired and worn down. I haven't even finished x-mas shopping and I have to hang up all my outside decorations still. I know, I'm whining.
Have you ever had racing thoughts and a to do list in your head but no energy to do it? That's me right now.
I got a water bill for a property we own for $350.00. WTF?? It seems our renters (who are really nice and responsible usually) have not been shutting off the faucet in the bathtub. Now I have to eat that right at x-mas time---ya for me.
Now onto the x-mas wish list for my daughter: where do I start? How do you know what to get them because I'm not getting her everything, it's too much and she is not getting a cell phone (remember she's five). I'm do not want to spoil her but I do not want her to need for anything either...tough decision.
Now that Entourage,
True Blood
and Weeds
have ended their seasons, I really only watch one show, Crash (series on Starz)
It's pretty crazy and I'm waiting for Big Love to start back on HBO.
Now I'm going to go back and try to sleep off the FLU :(
Have a good week!!
